Like any great story, ours begins with an adventure that led to the summit of Africa. After conquering Mount Kilimanjaro, Neel sought a way to commemorate the achievement and deepen his commitment to his partner, Urszula. While in Tanzania, he discovered Tanzanite, a mesmerizing blue-violet gemstone found only in the volcanic foothills of the mountain he had just climbed. A thousand times rarer than diamonds, its rich blue hues carried deep significance for the two of them. Determined to bring home a piece of this experience, Neel connected with local mining partners and found the perfect intense blue and subtle violet stone for his amor.

Rather than surprising Urszula with a finished ring, Neel returned to New York and presented the loose gem, inviting her into the creative process. Enthralled by its brilliance and the opportunity to design something uniquely theirs, Urszula embraced a passion that had long been in the back of her mind. Neither had any ties to the jewelry world, but together they spent the next two years immersing themselves in the craft. They learned techniques, earned GIA gemological certifications, and forged connections, guided by a shared belief in authenticity and intention.

In the process, they unknowingly built something far greater than a single ring. They cultivated direct relationships with world-renowned lapidaries in India and master jewelers in New York without intermediaries or middlemen. This realization sparked a new vision. They wanted to offer others the same bespoke, deeply personal experience they had created for themselves. What began as a single milestone evolved into something far more, a journey of craftsmanship, connection, and a commitment to helping others tell their own stories through fine jewelry.
